Margarita is a Сomposer and Music teacher based in North London. She has 15 years of teaching experience in music schools, colleges and as a private teacher. Margarita is an academic composer known for her chamber and symphonic music. She is a laureate in composer competitions. Additionally, she has composed music for theatre performances and audiobooks. Margarita has also performed as a pianist in concert venues in Moscow and other Russian cities as a soloist and in ensembles.

I offer lessons in: - Folk/Pop/Rock Violin - Logic/Ableton Music Production - Songwriting, Composition, and Film Scoring I also offer support with: - Music Theory and Music Reading - GCSE, A Level and BTEC music/music technology exam VIOLIN LESSONS: My violin lessons are for anyone, no matter how young or old, who wants to learn to play the violin within the context of folk, pop, or rock. We will look at classical violin technique to ensure safety whilst playing, as well as how to read music and music theory. We will look at folk, pop, or rock repertoire, and at the techniques that can be used to make these genres come alive on the violin. MUSIC PRODUCTION LESSONS: At its simplest, music production is the careful creative process of capturing and showcasing the raw recordings of a track, arranging them in the sonic sphere in such a way that a listener can truly connect with the artist's intention. More complexly, it can build an intriguing world of sound around the core songwriting/compositional elements. I teach my students how to use music production software and how to put sounds together, leading through to creating fully recorded, produced, mixed and mastered music projects. Mario R. started his musical journey at the age of 9 and was inspired by his father and a friend from school to take up the piano. He took private lessons in Piano, Music Theory and Harmony for 6 years and continued his studies in several music schools such as Professional Musician Institute, Lino Liviabella, Bettino Padovano across Italy. Throughout his musical career, Mario’s most influential teachers have been Massimo Morganti, Giuseppe Continenza, Gary Willis, Gabriele Pesaresi, Phil Peskett, Simon Purcell, Steve Watts, Andrea Solarino, Paul Westwood and more.
Mario attended Arcevia Jazz Feast Summer Camp from 2008 to 2013 which led to masterclasses in Improvisation, Music Harmony, Composition, Arrangement, Bass Technique, Ear Training with some of the biggest artists and composers in the world music scene that included George Garzone, Bob Brookmeyer, Ayn Inserto, Scott Henderson, Gary Willis, John Stowell, Bob Mintzer, Dave Holland, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Scott Henderson and more. In 1990, Mario began studying bass guitar and playing also piano and keyboard in several bands.
Since 1997, Mario has been teaching music privately in schools while working as a professional musician in several Italian and UK bands. His musical expertise as a performer and teacher spans genres from Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Latin and Electronic music.
In 2013 he moved to London where he is now based and completed his Bachelor's degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and specialised in Jazz Performance and Composition.
Mario is currently teaching Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele and Music Theory (including ABRSM Grades), Harmony and Improvisation to students of all levels and ages in London as well as students worldwide via online platforms.

Hi. My name is Tarquin www.*** I teach an assortment of musical threads, mainly piano and theory, and also in composition, be it songwriting or film soundtracks. I am a flexible teacher, in that I try to meet the learner wherever they are at, and seek to teach them in a way that suits their learning style. My background is both classroom teaching and ono-to-one peripatetic and I have taught throughout all Key Stages and all abilities. I am also well versed in Music Technology (and have taught it) which I use to create soundtracks, and ambient pieces.

I am a composer and musician and at the age of 16 I was one of the youngest students to study percussion at the Royal Northern College of Music. After graduating I started working in London as a Freelance percussionist in all styles of music including regular work with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta. I became the last Solo Percussionist with Sir Peter Maxwell Davis’s contemporary ensemble: The Fires of London. I was commissioned to write music for Sir John Gielgud’s reading of Lear’s Nonsense Poetry. In 1981 I started working with Steven Berkoff (Actor/Director) as composer/performer and collaborated many of his stage, TV and radio productions including: West, Greek, On the Water Front, Berkoff’s Messiah and Richard II. One of my first compositions was a Vibraphone solo called ‘Blues for Gilbert’. I am currently releasing some new recordings and composing an exciting new musical called: Seven and a Half Years.
As a teacher I have many years of experience teaching piano, percussion, vocal coaching, composition and theory. Also, GCSE and A Level composition tutoring.

I work professionally as a composer, pianist (accompanist), jazz pianist, choral singer, saxophonist, percussionist. I've also worked a lot with theatre. I was chapel musician and a choral scholar at Cambridge. I have conducted orchestras, choirs. I have excellent qualifications: a double first from Cambridge University (in Music) as well as an MMus from Rotterdam conservatoire.

I've taught flute as a peripatetic teacher since the age of 17 and trained as a secondary music teacher in my home town of Sydney, Australia. I have since worked in secondary schools and more recently as Director of Music in several schools in the UK and abroad. I am currently Director of Music at a London Preparatory School. I believe studying music should be primarily about enriching one's life, and aim to make learning about theory and composition as practical and fun as possible. Music requires precision and exacting skill but I believe it is possible for everyone to improve their appreciation and understanding of music. Music is an incredible means of self expression and helping students understand more than just the technical elements is very important to me.
I have worked with a wide age range of students, from pre-schoolers to adults. Every person is an individual and I will tailor our lessons to your needs and aims. As a parent to a child with ASD and Irlen syndrome, I am able to apply strategies to assist other pupils with similar needs and have an appreciation of particular challenges which can arise from these.
