First of all, I am a passionate tutor d I enjoy passing my knowledge to others. I find it very rewarding when students tell me enthusiastically about their good results at exams.
Secondly, through my long medical studies and via my job as GP, I have become very patient and a good listener. This helps me to adapt to any student`s background.
Thirdly, being the mother of three teenagers has taught me how to deal with the variable commitments at this age.
I believe firmly that tutoring should be tailored to match each student needs.
Moreover, I take into account that tutoring sessions are extra works added to the student’s busy day at school or at the workplace. Consequently, I endeavour to make my lessons diverse and lively, to avoid students being bored or tired and at risk of giving up after the first sessions.
I make the session as interactive as possible to retain the student’s attention. The student reads the lesson and we point out together the main ideas. After that, he /she will write summary notes under my supervision. Then comes some sample exam questions. Finally, I end the session by a quiz about the topic that we have studied www.*** ,when the exams are getting closer,we work on past papers .
As the holder of a Baccalaureate in Sciences and a Doctorate in Medicine, I am conversant in maths physics and chemistry up to GCSE / A level. In addition, Biology is amongst the basic topics in medical studies therefore, this subject is one of my strongest areas of expertise.
With regard to French, although I am not a French native, I am a fluent speaker as all my studies have been carried out in French, from primary school through to university. Consequently, I master French at all levels: from casual conversation to academic reports. Additionally, through my French husband and his family, I have acquired a strong familiarity with the French culture, history and customs.
I am conversant with the curriculum, through my involvement with my sons’ studies and previous tutoring. I am familiar with the different exam boards and their distinctions. I regularly check on the Internet for the latest updates on the syllabus according to each board.

After 24 years of teaching science and maths at various places, I have a lot of experience to offer. I have taught biology and chemistry to A-level standards for several years. I am the lead A-level biology teacher and the lead Chemistry teacher at Chichester Free School. I have been gradually increasing my private tuition and now have three years of experience in private tuition. I have a variety of resources available to aid students whatever their preferred learning style. I will teach online for safety but prefer face-to-face when it is safe to do so.
I have been marking A-level biology for four years, although recently this has not been possible, I still keep up the training program and am ready to start again once the exams start up again. Often students have good knowledge of the subject through thorough revision and learning but have trouble in getting the marks in the exams. This experience has given me insight into how the exams are set and marked so I can give good advice to students on how to interpret the questions and how to answer them to maximize their marks.

Hello my name is Annabel and I’m a second year Dentistry student and I have 3 years of formal tutoring experience an excess of 500 hours both online and in person, I work with students of all levels and most exam boards from Primary all the way up to A-Levels. I hope to share my extensive knowledge of the specifications and my experience from working with numerous examiners of all levels. After leaving education I have not stopped tutoring which a lot of my students find incredibly helpful as I can help teach from a students perspective as I have both experience first hand of the courses (including the new specification GCSEs) but also a lot of experience as a tutor.
I try to add humour, acronyms and real life examples to my lessons to really interact with my students and help cement the concepts that I am teaching, as no one is going to remember boring textbook facts! I have spent a lot of my spare time researching memory and the best ways to teach and revise after seeing myself, colleagues and current students not maximising their potential through revision and understanding. I use spaced repetition incorporating ideas I have previously taught into new lessons through mini quizzes, linking similar concepts together and allowing the student to do this themselves via prompts. Alongside this due to my knowledge of exam boards, I can spot common questions and help students to use the question to form their answer if something like a formula was forgotten. Which based on purely the exam technique tips I can provide, students have even gone up 1 level just based on this.
I hand tailor all of my lessons to the individual pupil and really listen and attempt to understand their learning style incorporating this and their own ideas into my lessons in order to make it the more effective for time and enjoyable and engaging for that student.
I look forward to hearing from you :)

Experience and diligence are the key consistencies of a successful teacher, both of which I have taken the effort of acquiring over more than 20years of my high-yielding teaching career. I am an IB EXAMINER (BIOLOGY AND Chemisty) for the past 8 years and a CIE EXAMINER (BIOLOGY) for the last 3 years. My specialization lies in Biology, ESS and Chemistry from GCSE to A/IB levels however, my experience is synonymous across the educational board as I’ve also written Personal Statements and essay assignments for university students.
As previously mentioned, I have consistent experience in writing university and A level assignments for various subjects ie. Science and various social sciences. I find my teaching to transcend the synthetic geographical borders and time zones, having taught from Dubai and Malaysia, to the US, India as well as the UK. With my vast, and still every-growing, experience of teaching hundreds of students online and in person, I’ve sufficiently grasped the ability to get across challenging content and achieve measurable results.
I would be more than obliged to be contacted for any of your teaching/writing needs and further discuss availability.

I am a friendly and welcoming individual that is currently studying for a Masters in biological science at Imperial College London. I have a passion for bioligical sceince but can also assist in other science subjects on the GCSE curriculum.
I believe in a personalised approcah for all pupils and have a free consultation before lessons begin to determine what works for everyone. These sessions allow me to determine strengths and weaknesses for each individaul and how to progress. I like to teach pupils ways of thinking that allow them to really understand each topic, as this approach lets them apply their knowledge to other areas of the course as well as increasing their engagement with the subject.
As a student with Special educational needs myself, I have experience in tailored learning and can tailor the style and pace of learning to fit each individuals needs and allowing them to excel no matter the circumstances.

Furthermore I have 6 months experience as a substitute teacher and a year's experience as a TEFL teacher. I am happy to modify the class as per student needs. Depending on student specification and weak topics I can plan lessons to suit individual style of learning by either providing extra supprt and material or by going over the topic again to make it simpler and easier to understand. Through my experience in labs I will use real life examples and videos, wherever possible to help my students with their curriculum. Hi! My name is Huda H. and I am from Crawley, West Sussex. I graduated from the University of Northumbria. I did a bachelors degree on Bio Medical Science. I am currently a Maths and Science Tutor. I have experience in tutoring female students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Science for three years. I started tutoring primary students during my GCSE'S. After sucessfully completing my degree, with a second class honours, I wanted to make teaching as my profession. I have been able to help students who were facing a lot of difficulties in understanding the subject by breaking it down step by step making the topic more interesting and easier for the students. I have been able to help my students get through their exams and achieve the best results. I am currently working part time as a Maths Teacher for year 11 students at Oxbridge Online School. I conduct my lessons online via zoom/google meets and I do in person tuition at my home. I provide presentation slides for my students for each subject i teach so that they can refer the slides in the future. I make sure I go step by step when teaching my students. The exam boards I am currently aware of are Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA and OCR.
